BIODEGRADABLE MATERIALS
For the past few years, FAURE has been developing a new type of textile material that is 100% biodegradable. FAURE is convinced that the choice of materials will affect our lives, marine ecology, and the earth.
Especially, this new season FAURE has developed LYOCELL yarn into the engineered mesh. (Please refer the item #FRF0073 and #FRF0074). The feature of the engineered mesh is used for yarn-dyed and it could also reduce the whole manufacturing process in the shoe.
Meanwhile, FAURE continued research and development on the low-temperature dyeing process. (Please refer the item #FRC5286/#FRC5318) These materials can reduce carbon footprint and carbon emissions by at least 50% since it would not need lots of energy to boil up the dye vat. It has incredible absorption characteristic and is 50% more absorbent and quick-drying rate than cotton.
  • ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE FORESTS

The ber obtained from eucalyptus trees that are in farms, which are not from old-growth forests. The yarn comes from socially and environmentally responsible forests.

  • YARN

MSI score for Lyocell (TENCEL™ branded Lyocell fibers) fibers is required low scores = better. Besides, FAURE has Lyocell filament that could anti-shedding, be made for circular and warp knitted fabrics.

  • DYEING

It could reduce about releasing 50% carbon by low dyeing temperature between 22°C ~ 25°C.

  • FABRIC

It has incredible absorption characteristics and is 50% more absorbent and quick-drying rate than cotton.

  • SOIL

It could be fully degraded by microorganisms and humidity in the soil. After degrading it would not leave any chemical.

  • OCEAN

The Lyocell filament is anti-shedding, it will not destroy the marine ecology.
